Things to Do in Nolensville

Many historical structures and homes dating back to the 19th century still exist in the original center of Nolensville, just south of where Mill Creek crosses US Highway 31A.  The original Nolensville Mill Company, dating back to 1890, now houses the Amish Country Market at the Feed Mill.  The Nolensville Co-op Creamery, which operated from 1921 – 1957, is now an antique store.  A “Home Place” was built in 1820 and was one of the original homes built in this area.  It now serves as a bed and breakfast.

If you are hungry in Nolensville, most people will tell you to go to Martin’s BBQ.   The original location is based in Nolensville; however, Martin’s pulled pork is now famous all over Middle Tennessee and around the world.  Martin’s was recently featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives, a show on The Food Network.

The owner, Pat Martin, has gradually grown his business over the years.  He is one of the features at the Big Apple BBQ Block Party in New York.  Pat is also a member of the Fatback Collective, a BBQ cooking team with other well-known chefs from across the country.
