Saved by the Snow Dome?
If you have been around Nashville in the winter, you’ve probably noticed this.
Snow storms seem to avoid Nashville. Flakes fly to the North, South, East and West. Not much in the city.
Two years ago, a group of concerned citizens started saying that Nashville has a secret #SnowDome.
Others responded by saying, “it’s a bunch of nonsense, a conspiracy theory,” and, “if you believe that, you probably think the earth is shaped like a dome.”
The “Domers” were undeterred and gathered strength on social media. You can find them today, only online and still using the hashtag, #SnowDome.
The movement exploded when I was able to capture a screen shot of the #SnowDome on Radar in February 2014. I shared the picture online and nearly started an early morning riot at Channel 2 News. #BlameJustin
The “Domers” hold this picture as Exhibit #1 in their case against the #SnowDome and its purported cover-up.
The picture is attached to this post.
I don’t put much stock into the #SnowDome theory. We are prepared for the rain, sleet and snow (no one is good on ice). We use 4WD, take precautions and use experienced drivers because we have places to go and people to see.
We’re not going to let a few flakes stop us from helping you.
If the #SnowDome failed you and you need some assistance, give us a call today.
