Fannie Maes Serious Delinquency Rate Declines For 12th Month

According to the latest Monthly Summary from Fannie Mae, the Conventional Single-Family Serious Delinquency Rate declined one basis point to 4.44 percent in February 2011.  The Multifamily Serious Delinquency Rate fell four basis points to 0.65 percent.  The Serious Delinquency rate counts all loans that Fannie Mae owns or guarantees that are 90 days or more past due.  Although the single family rate dropped only one basis point in the last month; the rate has declined 115 basis points in the last year.
