Nashville Foreclosure Rates Show Continued Improvement

S&P Case-Shiller Shows Seasonal Improvement in Home Prices

Fed’s Beige Book Reports Modest Economic Improvement in Nashville

The Federal Reserve release the latest Beige Book on Wednesday.  Nashville is located in the Sixth District, Headquarted in Atlanta. The sixth district is reporting that overall economic activity is up modestly from mid-February to March.  Retailers cited that consumer spending improved while auto dealers reported strong sales growth. 216,000 Jobs Created in March, Unemployment Rate at 8.8%.

Nonfarm jobs  increased by 216,000 in March, and the unemployment rate dropped slightly to 8.8 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.  Job gains occurred in professional and business services, health care, leisure and hospitality, and mining.
